Lets get our kids back on the right track with Superfoods for Kidz!

What has changed over the years …
  •  Since the 1930’s our exposure to chemicals through food, our environment and products used in the home has increased dramatically
  • Consumption of fast foods and processed foods has increased dramatically,

  • Children are born with a certain enzyme bank account, some more than others. Children born of parents who regularly eat nutrient depleted foods have a smaller enzyme account, by the second and third generation of parents on deficient foods they are often born with allergies or develop generative diseases quickly
  • Australian Children have the highest rate of allergies in the world.
  • 85% of Australian children are obese
  • 17% of Australian children are overweight
  • 1/3 of Australian children consume little or no fruit or vegetables
  • 78% of Australian children don’t meet the dietary guidelines for daily veggie intake
  • 39% of Australian children don’t meet the guidelines for daily fruit intake
  • There is a general decline in fruit consumption in Australian children between 2 – 11 years of age
  • 32% of Australian mums find it difficult to get their kids to eat fruit in their school lunches
  • Almost all parents have struggled with fussy eaters or busy lifestyles that make it hard to get all the recommended serves of fruits and vegetables into their kids, every single day.


As busy mums we need to do all we can to get the best nutrition we can into our kids from an early age (it’s not always easy ! I have a child with major sensory issues with food so I know) a few quick tips are :

  • If you can’t pronounce the name of a food – don’t eat it
  • Don’t eat anything your grandmother wouldn’t recognise as a food
  • Eat food with ingredients a normal person would have in their pantry
  • Avoid low fat or Light foods
  • Eat foods made from ingredients you can picture in their raw state or growing in nature
  • Limit your exposure to toxic chemicals, choose your cleaning products, beauty products and any products exposed to the skin carefully.
