It's time to chill out...

Have I told you how much I have been loving pregnancy yoga??? Well, it is pretty much the most amazing time of my week. It is a time when I can just relax and be... When I enter that room, I totally zen out! Its quite incredible how I can switch off and the yawns just come and come and come, I just cant stop them!

Today, at yoga, I had a moment! A big moment of; "What am I doing to myself? I am tired, I am run down, I am overworking, I am not sleeping, I am too over stimulated, I cant relax... What am I doing to my baby?" It was a moment that I really needed and a moment that I know so many of us have at one time or another for one reason or another. As you can probably tell, I am a total addict to anything I love! If I love a song I will play it 100 times until I cant listen to it any more. At the moment, I am totally over stimulated with new ideas, new projects, new orders, new products, new, new, new. I love what I do but unfortunately I am letting it take over my mind. What I thought of my mind spinning out of control in a good way is actually putting my body into melt down and going to bed past midnight when pregnant every night just to reply to those emails, and then waking up at 6am to attend to a very enthusiastic, happy toddler is NOT healthy and a massive disaster zone.

So, after having a great chat with my yoga teacher, and taking on some relaxation techniques I am making the commitment to myself to switch off, get some sleep and nurture my body and my baby! I apologise now if I take a bit longer to get back to all you wonderful people... But it's time for me to listen to my body and chill out.
