RECIPE: Hollandaise Sauce


Have I told you how amazing my husband is??? Well, he is pretty amazing! Saturday mornings are usually daddy's Breakfast making morning and his delicacy is definitely eggs Benedict. It is so delicious and nothing better than home made hollandaise sauce, he makes the best! So here is my handsome hubby's recipe and if you want to know how to poach the perfect egg just go here, its easier than you think. ENJOY!

2 Organic free range egg yokes
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice
pinch salt, pinch pepper.

Throw everything in a bowl and whisk... dont stop... place over a simmering pot so it doesn't get to hot and separate, burn, turn into scramble eggs. Keep whisking until it gets to ribbon stage which is when you lift up mixture with the whisk and it folds back down on mixture  looking like a ribbon.

Take off heat and add in butter/oil very slowly while stirring becoming very creamy.
