TOXIC FREE FIND: Miod Natural Skincare

My favourite - Extra Hydrating Balm

Recently my overtired, dry skin has been lucky enough to be nourished with Miod natural skincare. I wont lie when I say I haven't been looking after my skin properly since H baby was born. For the first weeks after baby was born I was lucky if I cleaned my teeth, let alone cleansed my face. I would grab a bit of moisturiser and run it into my dry, aged looking face. Throw a bit of wind and crazy dramatic weather into the mix; I looked in the mirror and I could see my face tired and getting old and hell, I'M NOT OLD! So after my wake up call in the mirror I started using 3 products out of the Miod natural skincare range and I have pretty much fallen in love!

What is Miod?

"Miód, a Polish word meaning honey, represents my philosophy and what I aim to achieve in the products I make.  The honey bee works together with the environment which provides her with food, pollinating flowers in exchange for nectar, while the honey she makes is healthy and natural with many healing and medicinal properties; enriching and sustaining.  With Miód Natural Skincare I share with you my passion to create products which feed and nourish the skin, and which respect the environment from which they come."

What do I think about it?

Cleansing Balm Cleansing with oils is the best, especially for dry, tired skin. It cleans the skin while nourishing it. This cleansing balm in divine, it smells amazing and when you rub it into your skin you don't want to wipe it off. Its so beautiful! It is great at removing eye make up and lipstick as it nurtures those sensitive areas. It leaves your skin feeling clean, super soft and smooth.

Extra Hydrating Balm - Gosh I love moisturisers that actually moisturise! This has to be my favourite. This is the holy grail of moisturisers. It is as it reads; an extra hydrating balm. I have been using it in the mornings (and sometimes nights) on my face and neck. I have also been using a little on my dry hands and cracked feet. It is made with a mixture of the most beautiful Beeswax, Jojoba, Coconut, Benzoin and Sandalwood oils to make a firm textured balm for pure hydration of dry and damaged skin. Love it!

Rejuvenating Face Oil - This face oil is perfect for night time. It is rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids. I have been applying it after cleansing my face at night and in the morning my skin is looking and feeling alot more alive. I have also been dotting it under my eyes as an eye cream when I feel they need a lift during the day. Its so lovely on the skin.

I would highly recommend trying the Miod skincare range as it is not only beautiful, made with high quality ingredients and works but it is super affordable, you can get a great face cream for $25. That gives you no excuse for not looking after your skin with good product. So do yourself a favour and try Miod natural skincare, it has really helped to bring some life back into my skin.
