Hmmm… Well, calling these the latest obsession may be an understatement. My little P is totally and utterly addicted to these babies! The other night when we were all fast asleep in bed together (a regular occurrence in our house now, since miss P decided it was good idea to wake through the night, not so good for us parents), P started tossing and turning, mumbling something so I listened closer and she was calling out; “YOGI POPS… YOGI POPS!” Hah! So what better proof that these pops are amazing than a 2 year old dreaming of them and then waking up bright eyed and buzzing asking for one for brekky??? I have had to start making them in bulk as the little personality sneaks them out of the freezer, but not without offering one to us first of cause to soften us up!
So why are they really good? It is real fruity frozen yogurt in its purest form, full of goodness and its portion control at its best! I have been having one after dinner when the really naughty pregnancy cravings set in and they feel like a real treat!
They are SO EASY! SO SIMPLE! SO YUMMY! SO HEALTHY! ENJOY!
Banana and honey Yogi Pop
2 x really ripe bananas
6 tbsp of organic yogurt
1 tbsp raw honey (optional)
Strawberry and fig yogi pop
1 really ripe fig
6 x strawberries
6 Tbls of organic yogurt
5 drops stevia clear (optional)
Mango Yogi Pop
6 Tbls organic yogurt
Throw all ingredients in the food processor and wizz until smooth!
Pore mixture into pop containers and place in the freezer to set for at least 3 hours…. ENJOY!
If you want to make them pretty, then slice fruit very fine and stick it to the inside of the pop containers before poring in the mixture!
