RECIPE: Coconut Butter Dipped Strawberries

WOW! Yes, thats all I can say right now as I have coconut strawberries dribbling down my chin!!!!!
The Honest to goodness company has this amazing new product out on the market that is pure unadulterated coconut butter, not coconut oil… Its a creamy coconut spread that holds no nasties, just coconut! You can get it here.
This stuff is amazing! I got my hands on a jar of this deliciousness this week and first things first, I stuck a spoon straight into the jar and got stuck in. Then I started dipping strawberries! You need to try this, if you are a sucker for anything naughty, this is a guilt free alternative to white chocolate or chocolate in general, just add a dash of cocao and you have a coconutty chocolate butter/spread, too easy. Out of the fridge is soft and in the fridge it goes super hard. So heres what to do to get crunchy (what tastes like white chocolate) Coconutty dipped Strawberries.


1 x punnet of Strawberries
110 grams Honest to Goodness Coconut Butter
Cocoao nibs to sprinkle on top.


  1. If its cold, you may need to heat the coconut butter in a pot on low temperature, this will give it a super soft liquid consistency. 
  2. Dip each strawberry individually into the liquid coconut butter to cover and then set gently aside on a baking paper covered tray.
  3. Sprinkle cocao nibs on top and then pop tray of coconut butter covered strawberries into the fridge to set.
  4. Leave for at least 30 mins or until hard.
