REAL FOOD REVIEW: Lunching at Dragon Fly Cafe, Eden Gardens

Last Friday; I had lunch for the first time at Eden Garden’s; Dragon Fly Cafe. I have never been to the Eden Garden centre, although I drive past it quite frequently and have always had that urge to go there to check out what they have in their garden shop. I didn’t realise they also have the most gorgeous cafe and and absolutely stunning gardens that you can explore through. This place is all types of amazing; the gardens are out of this world and the food is delicious!!!!
As we arrived, we were greeted with the wonderful staff who gave us the run down on the venue and al it has to offer.
For lunch we started with a Freshly made fruit and veggie juice and then ate yummy baked atlantic salmon and an amazing fig, walnut and goats cheese salad! Seriously yum. The environment was pure bliss as we sat overlooking the beautiful gardens and listened to the birds. We soaked up every single second as we enjoyed our lunch.
After lunch we strolled through the gardens and then browsed through the garden shop. It was so nice to spend an afternoon in a type of sanctuary in the city. It was really nice.
Being well known as a great place for kids to visit, Eden Gardens also is a great pace to visit this valentines day with your loved one. The dragon Fly cafe will be hosting a special Valentines day dinner as well as their well known Ploughman’s picnics for 2 that are full of yummy indulgences that can be picked up and enjoyed in the gardens or taken to wherever choose. A really great date. I would highly recommend heading to Eden Gardens this Valentines day. They are open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. It is just an all round beautiful place with beautiful food!
